Paired with the Wingfield FP-C Video series, I recently passed my FP-C exam on 10/1/18. I reviewed the book twice until I not only knew all the answers, but more importantly, why the answers were what they were.I also reviewed "Back to Basics" which was also helpful (I find it helpful to study at least two different authors which, for me, gave a well rounded perspective.)Lastly, I reviewed Flight Bridge. Again a slightly different perspective, but helpful.Lastly, go online and review Quizlet Flashcards "FP-C" You could make your own, but there were several recent sets that were very useful.All in all....I over-studied. I thought the exam was pretty easy (definitely not because I smart)....only because I invested the necessary time and $$ to be successful the first time.Hope this helps. Be diligent, be thorough.....PREPARE :)

This book was an amazing study tool and asset to me for having a first time pass on the FP-C exam! The questions to practice in the book are the same in difficulty compared to the FP-C and are worded very much alike. 3 questions on my exam were almost word for word identical to ones I practiced in this text. Will Winfield also makes the text funny, you will catch yourself engaged and laughing while reading. He also includes great study tips and ways to remember important information. I also used Orcid Lopez Back to Basics book which was a good resource however I found it to be too easy compared to the FP-C questions and not very similar. The ACE SAT is definitely a great book and if you pass the questions in this book you will most likely pass the FP-C!Ryan W. NRP, CCEMTP, FP-C

Great Book. If you are looking to pass the cfrn this book will be a great asset to you. The questions are tough but if you can make it through then scoring around 70% you will pass the cfrn no problem. I passed a few months ago with a score of 125. Get to studying!

Great study aid. Used this book along with the computer based ACE prep course taught by William Winfield and I passed my critical care exam. This book is filled with hundreds of example questions covering every topic you'll find on the exam. The entire curriculum along with a touch of humor keeps you involved and entertained and wanting to learn more. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking for an additional study aid to both the flight and critical care paramedic exam.

From what others told me about this book it was "go to" when studying. I found the information outdated, the questions misleading, and quite a few typographical errors. Stick to the newer books (comprehensive guides) and popular "video" series.

This book is an excellent review for the FP-C exam. The questions are worded very similar to the actual test. Each answer is given rational and explanation as to the correct answer. This is not an all inclusive book. You should take a course/review and use other textbooks for more preparation but this book will put you in test mode. It is a great addition to any flight medic's library.

Was awesome for CFRN review! When I took my CEN I did questions with rationale. Definitely my style of review/learning new material.

Questions were written similarly to what I saw on the CCP-C. I feel this book and its explanations prepared me better for the test than the alternatives I also reviewed.

Wow! I just finished this latest installment and I wasn't a bit disappointed. Richard Paul Evans' mind doesn't work like the rest of our's and he leads you down a predictable though convoluted path that just makes you crave for more and more, like some alley junkie looking for his next fix. This is a continuing saga in a soft, sci-fi package and you cannot help but like the group of young protagonists as they go about their business of saving the world from an evil, really evil, character. Can't wait for the next installment. I'm 64 but in my mind's eye as I read this novel, I became 16 again! Thank you!

I didn't love this book as much as the second one, - just too much running around in the Peruvian jungle, and too much separation from the other teens. The big question here is who is the Voice? How does the group he represents always know what the Electroclan is accomplishing or when they need help? How can they ferry folks around the world to safety so fast. Are they part of the US government since they seem to find safety in the US? Lots of questions about this group and how they work. That will keep me reading. It was so predictable that some of the group would abandon Michael and his loyal friends, and also predictable that some would also come back. I could see that coming a mile away. This was a more depressing book because of the discouragement of the teens. The final fight scenes on board the ship was too short, while the jungle scenes too long. A death was predictable but still effective and especially the loyalty of his best friend. It also was sort of fake and phoney, but so predictable that Hatch would get away,,,, again! I guess he'll keep getting away as long as Evans wants to keep the series alive. I'm not sure how long this can be sustained. It is getting a little formulaic, like a Nancy Drew mystery. Change of scenery, but pretty much the same thing happens again and again. For the next book, I think Hatch should come and seek out Michael, instead of the usual. I disliked the torture and murder again. I know it has to be done to enhance the evil of Hatch, but still it is too much for me.

I received my ebook that I pre-ordered, but held off reading it. Why? Because I had waited so long to get it, and hated knowing I would zoom right through it and the next day it would be done, and I'd again be waiting for the next one. So, instead, I re-read the first two books, back to back, before I plowed through the newest one. I know it only delayed it three days, one for each book, but how wonderful to have each one to read one after the other. This newest one was full of all the fabulous exciting adventures you've come to expect from Michael and his Electroclan members. These books are so easy to "picture in your head" as you read. I taught elementary school for 34 years and wish I had had these books to read to my third through fifth grade students. My students would have loved these stories, and many would be rereading them over and over again after I read it to them. The only thing I'm sorry about, is that I now have to wait again for the next installment. However, it was so great to find out there are many of these in the works. I'm so glad it was not just a trilogy. I so enjoy reading a book where I've come to know the characters so well. In this book we learn so much more about the inner feelings of everyone. We find out bravery has nothing to do with not being scared. We also see what it means to do the "right thing". These books are what our youth need to be reading. They show children and adults what morals are still important. I'm in my 60s now, but still love these books. I enjoy reading young adult books, maybe because of having been a teacher, but mainly I think because of great books like these. I definitely would recommend these books to anyone. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

This book starts right where the second book ends. Michael Vey is in the Peruvian jungle with a helpful native tribe. Michael's mom is safe but the Electroclan have been captured by the Peruvian army because when they destroyed the Elgen plant they destroyed much of the country's source of electricity. Michael, with the help of a new character in the series named Tessa (who escaped into the jungle months before Michael arrived in Peru), have to go and rescue everyone from, most assuredly, being found guilty of treason and execution. Jaime, who works for the mysterious "voice" person and the reader meets in the Rise of the Elgen, helps Michael and the clan throughout the book, as much as he can.Then tragedy strikes. It will wreck you. I won't spoil it, but have tissues with you when reading this book. I cried big fat tears, and am glad I was reading it at home and not in public.The tragedy, and the decision to attack and sink the Ampere (the main Elgen boat) nearly tear the Electroclan apart. But I was happy in the end, and the book ends on kind of a cliffhanger, just giving you an idea of what the next book will be about.

After an impatient year- long wait, I was excited to read Michael Vey 3: Battle of the Ampere, the latest installment in Richard Paul Evans gripping series featuring Michael Vey and the Electroclan. It was even better than I had anticipated. I was totally blown away! The end of MV2 left us breathless and left Michael Vey, his mother and his friends still in the jungles of Peru. Michael has become separated from the rest after a harrowing ordeal with the Elgen. With his mother finally safe as told to him by an old friend, Michael together with new friend Tessa, eventually reunites with his Electroclan. The brave and loyal band of cohorts face many obstacles that just might keep them from their ultimate mission, to sink the Ampere and dethrone the devilish Hatch who has become more powerful than anyone could have imagined. This book keeps readers glued to every page. This a shockingly exciting, emotionally charged chapter of the Michael Vey series. Richard Paul Evans does an fantastic job at keeping both kids, teens and adults interested and engaged in all of the books in the Michael Vey series. RPE is truly a master storyteller that has kept the energy and sparks flying throughout this fun adventure. I will be recommending this book to everyone.

Mr. Archer . has / had real life experiences as a cop, or some very impressive friends who are. Truth, I'm a 27 year veteran cop/detective from a major mid western town. A plain street cop, serious under cover cop, and finally over ten years as a leading detectiveI picked this book knowing absolutely nothing about it. Truthfully I was pleasantly surprised to find it was about a wounded retired cop. I certainly wasn't expecting much from a free Kindle read, but was constantly and pleasantly surprised.The multiple plot changes were smooth, believable and surprising! I knew exactly how Mr. Prichard felt at every surprising turn.

This was a very good mystery . A lot of action, suspense, and a book you just didn't want to put down . It's story line was , I would say a feel good story. Highly recommend

I chose this book because it had great reviews and yes, it was free. It was horribly generic and the perfect cookie cutter way everything just flows is so far beyond belief I felt as though I was reading a bad t.v. show. Very unrealistic . I never leave a book unfinished but I just couldn't wade through this sappy lackluster story

This novel was not well written and I almost gave up four times. I did not think that people in Colorado spoke like Texans, but even if they do, having them say y'know, young feller, and drop the endings of their words constantly is very distracting. The dialogue is what the author struggles most with! He uses unnecessary exclamation points! In every paragraph! After giving a woman he has known for A DAY a thousand dollars to decorate a guest room in his house for her daughter, the protagonist says he likes to 'take things slow.' I laughed out loud. I have no idea what all of these positive reviews are talking about. True, there was no sex and very little language, but also little action and even less sense. Save yourself!

His love life is lacking and he's finally finished restoring his Corvette. When a frantic woman shows up on his doorstep, pleading with Sam to help her find her granddaughter, he can't say no. Teaming up with single mom and computer whiz, Indie Perkins, it's soon discovered that the missing girl has been used as collateral in a drug deal, by her drug dealing father no less. But, are things really what they seem? Sam soon finds himself the pawn in a dangerous plot to gain control of an extremely important "package".When I describe The Grave Man this way, it sounds incredibly intriguing. And honestly the premise is good - the story is appealing. I found some of the plot was a little over the top. Sending a low-level drug dealer to transport something so vitally important didn't seem like a great idea to me, no matter how crucial it was to throw the bad guys off the trail. Indie and her four year old experience an extremely traumatic event and an hour later they're in the backyard, frolicking and kicking balls around? But this is fiction and plausibility is often thrown out for the sake of entertainment. I did enjoy the author's nod to a certain conspiracy theory, however.There's a lot of action in the book, so that was a plus. It's not a long read, in fact the last 10% or so of this book is really the beginning of the author's next book. The huge problem I had with this book was the atrocious editing. There's no excuse for poor editing, even (especially?) when self-publishing and even if the book is free. I'm not the only reviewer to mention this, so I would hope the author uses this constructive criticism to do a complete re-edit. Considering the incredible amount of typos, I can only give this book 3 stars.

Throughly enjoyed this book. A good guy with a human side and twisty plot to boot.

Alright, here's the deal with this book. The story is interesting, which is the only reason I didn't stop reading it.The language of the whole book felt like story time for adults. If you're an accomplished reader you'll go crazy reading this book. The excessive placement of exclamation marks alone made me want to edit the book for FREE for this author. However, I didn't notice the typos that others mentioned, so I am guessing the book has been updated. Throughout the story, I felt like the writer had a MLS guide pulled up to verify punctuation and sentence structure. It bothered me bad enough that I did not and probably won't buy the next book.For the characters, I felt like there could have been a lot more description. Many readers are visual people, so take a dang minute and tell me what they look like. Tall, pretty and cute are not the best descriptors. In my opinion, a GREAT book should play like a movie in your head while reading.Those things aside, the story was entertaining, and if it was written 10% better, I would have become a fan.

This is the first in a very poorly written private investigator series. Unrealistic and sophomoric to say the least. Former cop Sam Pritchard needs a computer hacker to help find a missing child who was kidnapped by her drug dealing father. He places an ad on Craigslist and within 3 hours Indie Perkins shows up at the restaurant where Sam was having lunch looking for the job. She tracked him down using her computer hacking skills She's young, attractive and down on her luck. She's homeless, living day to day in homeless shelters with her 4 year old daughter. She's also well qualified having recently graduated in the top of her class at MIT. Sam and Indie hit it off. Sam hires her and invites her and her daughter to stay in in house. She accepts and the next day with a few clicks on her laptop and a little legwork by Sam the missing child is located and returned unharmed. This is just the beginning, it's all downhill from here and it gets much worse. I don't understand all the positive reviews this book got. It's one of the worse books I have ever read and I real a lot.

Once again, Author Teresa Howell has penned another faith-based page-turner. Delayed but Not Denied focuses on the troubled marriage of Selina and Joseph Witherspoon, a minister at Ebenezer Church and his complex history with the First Lady, Joy Shackelford. As dark secrets are revealed, danger lurks and threatens to implode the lives of all involved. This is a book that you won't be able to put down. Five stars! Looking forward to the next.

This author never disappoints me. I was actually in a drought because nothing I was reading was good until now.This is a faith based page turner. I had a hard time putting this book down. I am looking forward to more from this author.

Selina and Joseph has been married about a year and have just had their first child and everything is going great until Selina finds a secret that Joseph has been hiding for years and in the most unexpected place to find it was in her husbands bible. This secret puts an unwanted strain on their marriage and their lives.Delayed But Not Denied deals with a lot of real life issues that are going on in and outside of the church. Adultery, obsession, violence and so much more.Things that went in on in this story just left me with my mouth wide open. Faith is a wonderful thing to have because without the lord I am not sure if I could have put up or dealt with what Selena went through. Their were some emotional parts in the story for me, a lot of it was anger.I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book because I tried to read 'That Church Life' on two separate occasions and couldn't get into it. But this book flowed from the beginning, got right down to business, drawing me in and I could barely put it down to get anything done. Although it dealt with a cheating minister, I highly appreciated that the author didn't go into explicit details about the affair. I find that so much in 'Christian' fiction these days and was glad the author took the high road getting the story across. With all that Selina endured from her husband, I was glad that she found forgiveness in her heart. I loved the scene where Timothy took her to his secret place and I believe that was the beginning of Selina's return to God and faith. She leaned on Timothy way too much anyway and I could see how his wife would have a problem with that. I wish that had been expounded upon. And Joy, well there's a hint of what her life will become, but I wouldn't mind reading more about her. Good book with some hard life lessons. I'll be looking for more from this author.

This was my first book by this author. It was really God. It showed me that soul ties are real. I don't know if I would have been forgiving as Selina. And Joy boy she could not take no for answer. But as they say you reap what you sow.

Infidelity and obsession is a hot topic within our society. I enjoyed how the author penned this book. I wasn't thrilled with the ending I wanted to know more. I look forward to reading more of her writings.
